A/Prof Lynette Kiers
Lynette Kiers is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Director of Clinical Neurophysiology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. She graduated from the University of Melbourne Medical School and undertook specialty training in Neurology in Melbourne and Perth. She subsequently completed her specialist and neurophysiology training in the USA at the Mayo Clinic and Massachusetts General Hospital. During this time she initiated a number of research projects utilizing transcranial magnetic brain stimulation to study corticospinal pathways and motor control, in addition to obtaining her American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. On return to Australia she joined the staff at the Royal Melbourne Hospital as a consultant neurologist and Director of Clinical Neurophysiology. She is an accredited Botulinum toxin injector and is Deputy Director of the RMH Botox clinic.
