Dr David Olive
David Olive is a Melbourne-trained anaesthetist who works as a VMO at St. Vincent’s Hospital, as well as in private practice. He worked for several years at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, and continues to practise ophthalmic anaesthesia privately. Aside from eyes, he has a broad practice, which includes anaesthesia for obstetric, orthopaedic, bariatric and ENT surgery. David enjoys teaching, particularly ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia, and he lectures regularly at the ANZCA Part 1 course. He aspires to be a good golfer, and hopes that the Hawks’ good run may continue.
