Dr Ross Kerridge
Ross Kerridge is an Anaesthetist at the John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle, and Associate Professor at the University of Newcastle. He has recently been appointed to the NSW Medical Council.
As an anaesthetist, Dr Kerridge has had a long-standing interest in the clinical, organisational and practical system issues of perioperative patient management. He has spoken, and listened to others talk, about Perioperative Medicine at numerous conferences and meetings, but feels there is no substitute for seeing what really happens ‘on the ground’ and ‘at the clinical coal face’. He has visited about 150 hospitals and health services in sixteen countries.
