Dr Zoe Keon-Cohen
Dr Zoe Keon-Cohen completed anesthesia training in Melbourne at The Alfred hospital and has completed several fellowships in both Melbourne and the UK at Addenbrookes (Cambridge) and Royal Marsden Hospital (London), specializing in research of clinical trials, cancer, neuro-anaesthesia, trauma and Airway anesthesia. I maintain a dedication to clinical practice and currently work as a VMO at Box Hill Hospital and the Royal Eye and Ear Hospital in Public and at other Melbourne private hospitals.
I have a lifelong commitment to learning through completion of a Masters of Public Health in clinical research skills and leadership and prior study in medical and undergraduate Law. I contribute regularly to education through the department and broader development of standards for Australian End if life Guidelines, (NSQSS) research in the Monash University department of Public Health, ANZCA conference presentations and maintain a role of Gender Equity Officer for the ASA. I have developed a special interest in the application of advance care directives, End-of-life care, and resuscitation guidelines to anesthesia.
