A PhD student in the final 6 months at Melbourne University. PhD thesis is on echocardiography and ultrasound in critical care with particular emphasis on routine use of echocardiography and thoracic ultrasound in critically ill patients, diaphragm ultrasound and the utility of echocardiography and thoracic ultrasound in predicting outcomes of weaning from mechanical ventilation. Involved in teaching critical care, a faculty in various courses in critical care and mechanical ventilation, and in ultrasound and echocardiography locally and internationally.
